On 15 November 2018, the Study Society for Combined Transport (SGKV e.V.) once again hosted the 4th TerminalTag at the heating and power plant Moabit at Berlin’s Westhafen. The focus this time was on the number one topic in combined transport: quality. Professor Dr. Christoph Tripp from the Technical University of Nuremberg, an expert in distribution and trade logistics, then took over as moderator.
As part of the “Innovation Pitches”, Dr. Kretschmer from Virtenio GmbH presented in his speech “Estimated Quality of Arrival – Supply Chain Risk Management in Real Time” the latest approaches for real-time transport and quality protection for global supply chains, thus reflecting the core topic of the “Quality” event in relation to the latest technological possibilities, which can easily be used by the industry for e.g. mould or corrosion of goods thanks to Virtenio’s modular solution system. From all pitches, this contribution was awarded third place by around 120 participants from business, politics and science.
