On 19 and 20 November 2018, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) organised the 6th symposium on the “KMU-innovativ” funding priority as a conference for SMEs. The Ministry has also invited representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from other BMBF funding measures in the ICT sector to discuss and network. Participants were project participants of the funding measure “KMU-innovativ” with the technology areas e.g. industry 4.0, communication systems, IT security or production research.
As part of the research and joint project DRAISE, Virtenio GmbH, in cooperation with the Technische Universität Hamburg (TUHH, Comnets, Prof. Andreas Timm-Giel) and the Technische Hochschule Lübeck (THL, CoSA Kompetenzzentrum, Prof. Horst Hellbrück), presented the current status of research work on the project in the area of “Shopfloor condition monitoring in real time” combined with UWB localisation, in a poster session as well as in a live demonstrator in the form of a digitised transport trolley from production logistics.
