As part of the German Chancellor’s National IT Summit, Virtenio GmbH, the main prize winner of the ICT Innovative Competition, presented itself together with other ICT start-ups in the Young IT Lounge to high-ranking representatives from business, politics and the media. During her tour, Chancellor Angela Merkel had a conversation with the co-founders of Virtenio Dr. Henri Kretschmer and Thomas Henn. She informed herself about the experiences and opinions with regard to support programmes as well as the mentoring programme of the BMWi. The Federal Minister of Economics, Dr. Rösler, also gained an impression during his tour and spoke to startups.
The national IT summit took place for the 6th time and is organized by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. The aim of the summit is to offer high-ranking representatives from business, politics and science a platform for exchange on key ICT issues and to trigger initiatives.
